Our teams were challenged to promote the new HUAWEI P8 smartphone with both live and virtual activities.
Together with our collegues from DNA we developed a game where participants had to upload copyright night photos and share them with their friends in the social network. Each participant gathered votes and finally the lucky ones were given dozens of high-tech awards from HUAWEI.
Most intriguing was the fact that in addition to the ordinary users of the social platform, a large number of participants came from special mini-studios called "dark room" located in malls. Thus we were able to show the amazing technical specifications of the new device and demonstrate live the high quality camera.
For a period of two weeks, we gathered:
- More than 16,000 participants from social platform and malls
- Remarkably 80% of participants from mobile devices
